You Are

I know we’re “friends”, but I really can’t take it anymore because I like you and I know you don’t feel the same. Liking you is so difficult and embarrassing. My hopes gets so high and I get this butterfly feeling when I hear the things you say or when we have those texts/AIM conversations. And all of this is honestly so embarrassing when you clearly don’t feel the same. These words that you say to me mean absolutely nothing, yet I am so affected by them
